Anyone who know anything about music will identify the title of this thread as the 'B'-side of The Beatles' "Let It Be" (you all knew that, didn't you....)
Here, I'll give you a random name, all you have to do is give me the song that it is from. Easy!

1. Virgil Caine (The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down)
2. Mama Cass (Creeque Alley)
3. Buck Owens
4. Brenda Lee (Radar Love)
5. John Lee Pettimore (Copperhead Road)
6. Jenny Diver (Mack the Knife)
7. Elmore James (For You, Blue)
8. George Woolnough (Tenterfield Saddler)
9. Peter Brown
10. Martin Luther (Let 'Em In)

You're thinking of Martin Luther King, Scorchio.

I think I might have found (quite accidentally) a possible answer to this one from the hip hop genre but I doubt very much that it the one that you seek.

I would think, also, that Paul McCartney's "Let 'Em In" is referencing MLK Jr rather than a 16th Century Protestant Reformist (though the idea that the nailing to the door of ML's 95 theses might inspire the loveable Scouse pop legend to advocate opening of said door has a certain charm)
