I know we haven't got a great array of gamers here, so I'm thinking a single thread for it might do the trick. (Similiar to the Pro Wrestling Forum)

I bought a PS3 about a week ago and am having absolutely no regrets. I got it in a bundle with the PlayTV PVR hard/software and as a media centre it is fantastic! It's my first experience with being able to pause live TV and it has come in handy. The fact that if I've got a few friends over and we're playing something I can be recording something in the background is great. I haven't watched a Blu-Ray yet but the picture quality of games like Final Fantasy is getting me a little excited at the prospect of a Blu-Ray.

The game library is basically the same as 360 with a few exclusives either side. I'm a massive Metal Gear fan so it keeps me happy. I've picked up 2 games (Tekken 6 and Mirror's Edge) that are keeping me very happy (admittedly both multi-platform) and I've got plenty more I'm keeping my eye on.

I've owned a Wii for about 3 years and I was unhappy with it. As a gamer (not so much an ordinary layperson) the novelty of the control system wore off and no ones really pumping out solid games for it. There are the odd few here and there but really it hasn't kept me interested. Hopefully motion control is just a fad.

End rant.

So I've finished Mirror's Edge and am now playing a game called "Heavy Rain". It's basically an interactive movie and really puts a spin on the mainstream perception of games.

Then again games have integrated life so much that some things have already challenged perception. Like Bejewelled. I've had the discussion with someone saying they don't game, but they play Bejewelled.

So to push this in a more communal direction...

What's everyone's top scores in Bejewelled Blitz on Facebook?

You have a good point there, Jr. I don't consider myself a "Gamer" and yet I probably play more "Games" than No1 son who is an "Interactive Gamer".

I haven't tried Bejwelled Blitz (Yet) and generally tire quickly of Arcade style games, preferring the Mahjong, Scrabble, Quiz type games.

I liked the PQ "Bowling" until I found "The Line" after which I could Max Out in most games which became boring.
