There are two types of games. Let's call them Type 1 and Type 2, for instance. Type 2 games don't allow the post method needed, which allows messages to be sent to the database. Unfortunately, most games are Type 2.

It can't be done within the game itself, as that part of the code is nothing to do with us. I think what we could do is provide a popup link in the arcade index to each game with a description of how they're played. But we can't do that overnight.
A hint for Mini Pool though... it doesn't matter if the red or pink balls are moving; you can strike the white if it's stationary. And always go for the balls with the lower numbers, because once those reach zero, it's game over.

With Mini Pool you can't control the power, as it's set to just one speed. Mini Pool 2 and 3 you can though. A lot of it is how you play real pool, whereby hitting the left side of a colour will send the ball right, and vice-versa. Chances are if you can play pool in real life, you'll be able to play it online just the same. But it all takes practice at the end of the day. I'll see what we can come up with as far as a full set of instructions go for each game though

The tourney has been working, I just haven't had a chance to change the game of the week very much. Another problem has been with the header on the Arcade page. It has had 'Barty' listed as the game of the week, and I can't change it without knowing how. I've asked the person who previously operated the tourney for help, but as yet I've had no response. I don't know about the problem you're having, MsV. It seems to be working fine on my end.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Fosse, the PQ tourney is up and running again. The problem we had with the header on the Games page seems to have been fixed, so everyone hook in and start playing to your heart's content!
